Lancashire County Council 'Bottom Line'
Bottom Line - Lancashire's Real Nappy Project
Lancashire County Council's Bottom Line Real Nappy Project, in conjunction with local nappy businesses offers you £45 towards the cost of real nappies or £70 for 2 or more children (subject to availability). This initiative makes trying and using real nappies for the first time affordable to everyone. We can also give you all the information, support and advice you need to get started.

The Bottom Line Nappy Project is about giving Parents the information, support and advice about real nappies to enable them to make an informed choice for their baby. The project aims to raise awareness of the issues surrounding nappy use, increase the accessibility of real nappies from Lancashire Businesses and to make real nappies more affordable for more people.
London Borough of Bexley:
The London Borough of Bexley is part of the Real Nappies for London Scheme and offers a £40 Vouchure that can be put against real nappy purchases or use on the local Nappy Nation Laundry service. For instructions on how to use your vouchure please see Real Nappies for London Section.
The council also run monthly Nappachino events where you can see nappies for yourself before making a final decison and speak to others who are already using nappies for advice and guidance for more information visit the Council web-site.
London Borough of Bromley:
Free Trial Packs with samples nappies to 'try before you buy' are available for collection from the Civic Centre in Bromley please contact Kay Spurrier of the Recycling Team to find out more on 0208 313 4913
Once you know which nappy system you want you can also claim a £30 cash back on the Nappy Laundry Service or nappy purchases made subject to proof of purchase and use.
To claim for £30 you submit your invoice for laundry service or nappy purchase to the Council with a claim form signed by your Midwife or Health Visitor. Only one cashback incentive can be claimed per child in nappies
The London Borough of Lewisham are part of the Real Nappies for London Scheme offering a £30 vouchure that can be used against real nappy purchases or the Nappy Nation Nappy Laundry Service. Please see the Real Nappies for London Section so see how to use your vouchure to buy nappies from Nappy Nation or to set it against the laundry service.
To claim your vouchure you will need to vist either the Real Nappies for London website or Lewisham Council site directly.
Lewisham also run a monthly Nappachino event in different venues across the borough. You will be able to see different nappies before making up your mind on which type to try and speak to mothers who have used them themselves. To find out when and where the next event is taking place please contact the Council direct.
London Borough of Southwark:
Southwark Council are part of the Real Nappies for London scheme and offer residents a £40 vouchure towards Laundry service or purchase of real nappies. The vouchers can be used to purchase nappies from Nappy Nation or claimed back from Nappy Nation Laundry Service. Southwark Council Nappy Scheme Site
Nappy Nation Products and Bumbletots Ltd are part of the Real Nappies for London programme and can accept vouchures from any participating London Boroughs.
You will need to visit either the Real Nappies for London website or your local Council website to claim for your vouchure and then you have two options.
You can purchase your nappies online with Nappy Nation immediately and send in your vouchure for a refund on to your card. Alternatively you can send the vouchure with your order to Head Office at 14 Addison Road, Bromley, Kent, BR2 9RR and we will contact you to take payment details before processing. Please ensure you put your daytime contact details in with your vouhure and order.
If you wish to use the vouchure against the laundry serivce then when signing up to the service make sure your vouchure is passed to the laundry team and they will process it directly against your monthly invoice.
